The client’s who hired C&D to build this house had seen the house we built on N Vista, and wanted something similar. Their scope included numerous additions such a theater, wine cellar, and a gym — to be housed in a full basement. They tasked us with finding the site (not easy — but where our REALTOR licenses come in handy) — which we did.
The design of this house marries the traditional style of classic Spanish architecture with every modern amenity you could think of. The sweeping circular staircase harkens back to old Hollywood glamour, and sets a romantic tone. Overall the house includes six bedrooms and eight bathrooms plus all the spaces the client asked for in over 7,500 SqFt. It also includes a library loft, 4-stop elevator, numerous outdoor spaces including a roof deck with views of the Hollywood Sign, pool cabana, 5 patios, and an inviting covered sitting area at the home’s entrance.
While not totally obvious in the video here, the work we’ve done on-behalf of these clients is the result of the many ways in which we can potentially work with any client. It involved multiple real estate sales, the design and planning of the home, project management of the build, and, then, several other additional projects that unexpectedly came up towards the end.
